Religious Education

God is at the centre of everything we do in our school.  Therefore religion is not only taught as a discrete subject but through every aspect of our daily school life.   As we live our lives and learn together we are inspired by the Gospel values.  We endeavour to create a caring supportive community; where the healthy growth and development of each member of our school community is nurtured.

At St. Roselyn Junior, we place an emphasis on praising good behaviour as well as promoting high academic achievement and developing social skills that will enable our children to become successful members of society. We aim to provide a safe, calm and compassionate family community where every child is able to strive for excellence in all that they do.

School Values

  • Personal Excellence
  • Respect and Friendship
  • Inspiration
  • Determination and Courage
  • Equality.

Everyone in our school knows what each of these values mean. They are helping us to be proud of ourselves, not only as members of our School Community but also as members of our Local and Global Community. Behaviour Policy provides clear guidance on the behaviour that is expected in our school and how inappropriate behaviour is managed.
